Hi Rubaiyat Araci it is actually not a family name, just a second name. Maybe I need to slightly change my presentation and explain better the culture of names in Portugal. But basically Joana and Araci are the names that only belong to me, so Araci is also my name but not a family name. I was meant to be named only Araci but back in the day it wasn’t allowed to have a foreign name as your first. Basically you can have two first names and then you have two surnames, the surname from your mother and the last one from your father. Thanks for stopping by and read me 😊
