Searching For Life and Seeking Life-Long Dreams
Who hasn’t been young and wanted to venture out into the world? A few years ago, I would have said yes. I would think it was almost a condition of being young to want to go out and go further. To venture your life somewhere else as an escape from your problems.
But if life has also taught me some lessons, it has told me youth is not always a sign of rebellion or adventure.
We all have different dreams, and not all of us have the same conceptions of life — and that’s a good thing, I guess.
Still, within all this range of options, I will always find strange the lack of curiosity, fear, conservative ideas, and not wanting to be different from the life of their parents.
And so many adults, old but still young, criticize youth. It’s the eternal cliché. We will grow old and not understand the younger ones. But as long as this is so, so much, the better. It is a sign that young people are making the change.
And as I read somewhere, were it not for the youth bringing change, we would all still be in the stone age.
The youth bring evolution because they are not afraid to live and feel the energy of life pulsing in their blood. For those who feel this way about life, a round of applause for being dreamers…
