thank you Kat. We are indeed not ready. Portugal used to have a very mild climate, atlantic north. We didn't have extreme temperatures in any season. Life was pleasant, not too cold in winter nor too hot in summer. Just beautiful. Now? Honestly winters here are not cold anymore, I remember this past January how things were. I used to go for walks in the middle of the afternoon. no rain, sunny all the time. I never used to go to rivers in winter, not even close because of humidity and how cold it was. But I have pictures, even in the 'about-me story' of me with a coat, but near the river... I remember in february temperatures reaching the 20 / 25 degrees.. IN WINTER! As a kid we would always have maxium 10/13, that was it.. And now, what are we having? 47 degrees celcius in summer, and 30 degrees celcius at night ( sorry for the Celcius but I can tell you that 47 is not hot, it's hell!)...

Thank you for your message. Temperatures are dropping now, but for me? This is still too hot to handle...
