Trust Me! You Don’t Want To Be an Online Teacher

You don’t want also to be a robot artist? Should I not use AI pictures?

When people ask me what my profession is, I don’t really know what to say.

Sometimes this question that hangs over my head is either a reason for pride or to feel out of place in society.

“I am nothing, and I am everything” is perhaps my reason for fulfillment.

I am part of this generation that doesn’t have a job for life, and I try to see the positive side of it… I really do, while trying to deny the enormous instability that comes from this.

I have a degree in languages and international relations, majored in French and English. In other words, totally rubbish in our “practical” world.

I didn’t decide to be a doctor, a lawyer, or an engineer. I decided to follow the humanities, so badly regarded, I think, everywhere.

As such, not having any practical skills in the eyes of society, I adapted.

I worked in tourism, dealing with tourists and their constant nonsense. I worked more than I should have. I quit.

Later, I was a babysitter and lived outside Portugal, France, and Italy. I was paid very poorly. I gave up and looked for better.

Then I opened a language school where I became a manager and teacher. I had finally discovered a vocation: to teach.
