Your right, class still is very ingrained in my country. I could even write about that and my own experience. When is about racism, it's definitely not at all like in the USA, HOWEVER, I would not say that there's no racism at all, because unfortunately it's still not like that... maybe one day we'll get there. And yes, we are not afraid of the police. If you get lost you can ask for directions from them...and they cannot be carrying guns just like that... it's very different indeed.
